I can't seem to rename Mark Goodson Wiki:Classic Concentration/Episode Guide/Summer 1987 to just Classic Concentration/Episode Guide/Summer 1987. There's isn't a page with the exact same title. What's keeping me from renaming it?
If you teally want to know everything my Dad did please contact me. He preceded Don LaFontaine and did movie trailers, documentaries and more commercials (tv and radio) than anyone. My sister Carol and I have pretty extensive documenation on everything. Best, R.Marcato and C.Young
Hey Ian, can you do a page for Entre Familias I've already got the logo for it with that top curved "i" in the first letter of "familias" also I've already got the logo for it in the "image" section. thanks!
I don't know if it was you who contributed the pictures of the set pieces from the match game from the Gameshow Marathon special but if it was you, where did you get those pictures? I would like to track down the owner of them and see if I could get my hands on one of the pieces…
Yes you can change the title of the page for the Greek version of TPIR and thank you for adding a page for the 2006 Portuguese version of Feud, I would've done myself but I think my computer keyboard wouldn't do justice.
Hey Ian, happy 2016! hope you had a good Holiday in 2015. Anyway how do you feel about the Mark Goodson spoof logos from Saturday Night Live (Family Feud featuring the Baldwins playing against the Fitzgeralds with the late Phil Hartman as Ray Combs from 1994 and the 1970s-esque Charades from 2006 respectively) along with the videos uploaded on this site?
Again if you don't want them here on the site, I'll understand!
Happy New Year! My holidays were good. I hope yours were as well. :)
Spoofs should be listed in the "In Popular Culture" sections. You can add logos and videos of the spoof in that section too. But I would recommend reducing the size of the videos, like on the merchandise pages.
I can see the '94 Feud spoof (along with the MGP logo) in the Family Feud section but I'm pretty sure I can put the Charades MG-BT logo in the company logo section of Goodson-Todman Productions/Logo but not sure about the video though since that was a spoof and not a real game show, also which size do you want me to put the videos in particular... 300px, 322px or what?
MGP logos from spoofs should go in the "Goodson-Todman Productions/Logo" page, under a new section. Show logos from spoofs should go in the "In Pop Culture" section on the shows page. I would do 150px on the videos.
Understood! but in retrospect they did have the logos in their respective spoofs, but again that's understandable if you don't want to see them! but on an sort of related note I was thinking in one of the April Fools Day episode of The Price is Right (Carey era of course) at the end of the show as George Gray does the regular opening spiel "This is George Gray speaking for The Price is Right! A FremantleMedia Production!" however, instead of the Fremantle logo its replaced with "A Mark Goodson Production" or "A Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Production" logo. which is not only acts as a spoof but also a pay homage as well. Although this is a silly Idea and It will probably never happen but again its just a though that popped in my head.
The "Mark Goodson and Bill Todman/Videos" page is only for videos that are about them as people (appearances on shows, interviews, bios, etc.). Videos of the spoofs of the shows can be included in each shows "In Popular Culture" section. The April Fools Day MG-BTP logo can be included on the "Goodson-Todman Productions/Logo" page.
no Ian, I was just thinking of that April Fools Idea inspired by TPIR's Decades Week from the 44th season debut when George Gray did the "Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Production" spiel in the '70s episode and the "Mark Goodson Production" spiel in both the 80s and 90s episodes respectively from 2015.
again thanks for understanding, one more thing, I was thinking of adding two Goodson-Todman like inspired shows on this site which are You Lie Like a Dog (based on elements of To Tell the Truth) from 2000 and the local Philadelphia show Philly Pheud (based on elements of Family Feud) from 2013.
It could be said that many game shows were inspired by Goodson-Todman shows, so I'm against the idea of them having their own page. They can be mentioned in the "In Popular Culture" sections though. :)
YouTube has removed that video of "Backstage at the Ray Combs Family Feud". Did you by any chance download it while it was available? I was going to do so tonight but now it's gone. Please let me know. Thanks.
producers flew me to LA in u2. Also did To tell the truth. I was guy who shipped himself as students airfreight Tucson to Chicago on American Airlines. Crate appeared in both shows as prop. My contact is firstname.lastname@example.org
FremantleMedia likely has the episodes that you are looking for. The TV network that they currently run (BUZZR) was just recently looking for past contestants on the Game Shows they own the rights to. I'm sure they would be happy to help you find the episodes that you are looking for. You can contact them on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/BUZZRplay/ or on their website: http://buzzrplay.com/about
