Game Format[]

From 1998 to 1999, point values doubled after the third question until one team reached the goal of 300, thereby winning the right to play for 500,000,000 lire with time limits of 20 and 25 seconds. Five-time champs won a car. On the 2013 revival, the values doubled after the fifth question. In 2014, the fourth and fifth questions scored double and the sixth question scored triple value. After the triple question, families faced off in naming #1 answers with the top answer to the first four questions scoring 100 points and the top answer to the fifth question scoring 200 points.

From 2018 to 2020, after the first two questions, each family member in turn, starting with the third members and ending with the second members, faced off against each other by answering a question with at least five correct answers. The first player to buzz in must name five answers within 15 seconds. If all five answers proved to be correct, that family scored 20 points. Otherwise, the other family scored 20 points. After three more standard rounds, the players would take turns facing off to buzz in and name the #1 answers to questions with the first family to name five top answers scoring 150 points. By 2021, the second standard round is followed by each family member facing off to name the #1 answers to five questions. The first question scored 10 points for the top answer, 20 for the second, up to 50 for the fifth. Later, the first standard round would be preceded by five questions with each top answer worth ten points. Until 2020, the family with the most points plays for 10,000 TL. On championship episodes, the winning family could win a car by scoring 200 points in the final game, but would be guaranteed total winnings of 20,000 TL for reaching 120 points. As of 2021, one of the standard questions features a bonus of 1,000 lire hidden behind one answer. In addition, the fifth standard round scores double points and the highest-scoring family plays for 10,000 TL (5,000 TL on Asuman Krause’s first 45 shows).
