  1. New intro: Gene Wood now says "If you can do that, you could win a brand new car, as we play...". The camera also now pans from the middle cars as Gene says this spiel. The zooming in superimposed logo is no more from here on out. After Alex makes his entrance, he now just greets the audience in a separate shot, and heads to the player island. This intro would be used for the rest of the run. There are potted plants and College pennants peppered throughout, as well as a COLLEGE WEEK banner in front of the podiums. "College Week" flashes in a blue bar. There are special decorations to signify that it was now Fall. Five shows were taped for this Week instead of six. All week long, the base time was 50 seconds. Day 1 of College Week II, likely for Back to School purposes. Featured prizes: Piano (Game 1) and Tennis Lobber/Rackets (Game 2). Mark was from Antelope Valley College, and Krystal was from the University of California, Berkeley. Two free spaces were revealed in Game 2. Gene Wood: "Due to a production problem, the car game was replaced." No Winner's Circle win (of which Mark came close). Mark defeated Krystal, 2-1.
