About Last Night is a game show where three celebrity couples compete in a relationship "date night"-style game for up to $25,000 for their favorite charities in association with Sweet July Productions along with Unanimous Media in conjunction with Fremantle.

Gameplay[]

Ayesha would be asking intimate questions to the three couples about each other while her husband Stephen will be at the bar with a bell and buzzer to signify how the couples did. On each question after being read by Ayesha, three of the spouses would be wearing headsets so that they won't hear their partners answers then Ayesha would go to the couples one at a time. On a couples turn, the unisolated spouse would give his/her answers to Ayesha and then the other spouse would remove his/her headsets and give his/her answers to Ayesha. Matching answers scored points. The first two questions would be worth 1 point while the third would be worth 2 points as their would also be a challenge attached to it.

The Naked Truth[]

Not to be confused with the 1995-96 ABC & 1997-98 NBC sitcom of the same name, the final question (dubbed "The Naked Truth") to which no one not even The Curry's themselves know what the question is. Matches in this round are worth three points.

Out of a possible seven, the celebrity couple with the most points wins $20,000 for their charities.

Beat the Curry's[]

In the bonus round (dubbed "Beat the Curry's) the winning celebrity couples would also have a chance at an additional $5,000 for their charities. Each couple would be asked the same five question in a rapid fire style. Mainly all of them on a "Who's more Likely to.../Who's More.../Who's Likes To...etc." basis. They would be answering them while blindfolded and drinking martinis in the process (i.e. red for one spouse, yellow for the other). The Curry's would play first with the third place celebrity couple asking the questions and the second place celebrity couple making sound effects. Then the winning celebrity couple would play in order to try to "beat the curry's" or tie the Curry's score. Beating the Curry's won the added $5,000 for their charity but not beating the Curry's gave the money to the losing couples for their charities. However, if the round ends in a tie then all three celebrity couples get the money for their charities in general.

Trivia[]

This was originally going to be called Tattletales but the name was changed at some point.
Although the series was originally slated to air in the Fall of 2021[1], it was later pushed to February 2022.

This was the first game show to be aired on its streaming service.
According to the poster, it claims that the show is a new "reality series" although it's not a "reality series" at all.
Since the series is on HBO Max, their were no commercial breaks in between and was the first to do so.
The title alone also shares the same name with two romcoms (i.e. the original and the reboot) from 1986 and 2014 respectively. It was also the name of a South Park episode that aired in 2008.
